Comparative effects of purified diets and a natural food stock ration on the tumor incidence of mice exposed to multiple sublethal doses of total-body x-irradiation.

چکیده

Whereas these comparative differences between stock rations and purified diets relative to tumor incidence have been evaluated in terms of carcinogenic compounds and spontaneously appearing tumors, to our knowledge this effect has never been assessed in regards to exposure to sublethal doses of total-body X-irradiation. The present investigation was undertaken to determine the compar ative effects of a natural food stock ration and purified diets on tumor formation following exposure to multiple sublethal doses of total-body X-irradiation in the mouse.
